TriPeaks looks easy because every play is just one rank away from the waste. The work is which exposed card to spend, when a draw is worth breaking the streak, and how to reach the three peak cards.
Four calls that decide whether the peaks loosen or lock
Does this play expose a new card underneath?
A move that opens the row below usually beats a move that only shrinks the surface. TriPeaks hands tighten when the cards under the peaks never become available.
Should I chain on the peaks or draw from the stock?
If several exposed cards fit the waste top, pick the line that frees a buried card. If nothing fits, drawing is correct—but check every peak first.
When does Ace–King wrap matter?
Ace and King count as adjacent ranks. A low waste top can reach a buried King through Ace, and a King can rescue a trapped Ace on the board.
How does the streak score work?
The first card of a run scores 1, the next scores 2, then 3, and so on. A draw costs 5 and resets the run. Clearing the first two peaks adds 15 each, and the last peak adds 30.

On the opening moves, look for chains that expose a new card in the lower rows. Many losses happen because the bottom of the peaks never opens.
Scan every exposed card before you draw
The waste top can reach any exposed peak card one rank away. Draw only after you have checked Ace–King wraps and the plays that open the board.
A draw breaks the streak
Consecutive plays score 1, then 2, then 3. Drawing costs 5 and starts the next run at 1. If a card still fits the waste, play it before you draw.

How do plays work in TriPeaks?
Tap an exposed peak card that is exactly one rank higher or lower than the waste top. The card moves onto the waste. Ace and King wrap as adjacent ranks.
Which peak cards can I play?
Only cards not covered by another card on the peaks are exposed. They must also be one rank away from the current waste top.
What happens when the stock runs out?
The stock is dealt once. If it is empty and no exposed card fits the waste, the deal is over. Clearing all twenty-eight tableau cards wins.
Should I trust Hint?
Hint searches locally and suggests a legal move. It helps you spot missed chains, but it does not guarantee the best long-term line.
Why reopen a hand by deal number?
The same deal number always produces the same layout. That makes it easier to review one sequencing decision instead of guessing from memory.
